I really adore all of the support i've gotten over the years on this account, but I feel that because I am progressing in a style that may get me into the career I want and for that I need a better looking gallery... and really I don't have the heart to delete any of my old pictures OR completely abandon all of you guys. D:

Again, I'll still be posting on here from time to time! I just want you all to know that I'll be posting the majority of my work (or at least the better portion of it) in a new location.

I started a new sketchbook yesterday! I'm probably about 5-10 pages into it already because my mind is in "art ALL the time" mode.
I'm going to be working on my style a little bit more and going to start diving into different characters and expressions and couple poses. I looked through my last sketchbook yesterday and was all "THE FUU--" since I didn't find a single couple picture in it. Apparently I only like drawing random things NOT interacting with other things.
fml, this habit is going to be hard to break..

I'll also probably be uploading some sketchdumps.
Since my last sketchbook (and only sketchbook might I add.. /facepalms/) is filled up, I'll probably take some pictures of the decent shit and share it with all of you. Hell, maybe I'll throw in some of the new stuff I have (like Shattered Identity) just to give you an idea of just how freaking old all of the stuff in my other sketchbook is.

K SO:
I'm definitely going to be drawing with chalk more. I freaking LOVE that medium for some reason. If any one ever has trouble with color theory or how to mix colors to get cool effects... TRY CHALK. Not even joking. You mix some of the weirdest colors to get the coolest effects since the color wheel for Crayola Chalk is so limited. It helped me learn to apply different colors to my tablet drawings to get better results.

SUGGESTION TIME:
give me an idea to sketch or chalk or whatnot. I'll upload it. ;D

So... my dinosaur of a tablet finally kicked the bucket the other day.

My awesome guy, Kyle, decided to surprise me by giving me a new one for my birthday... a MONTH early.. and so I've been fiddling around with the settings all day and squealing with joy. PFFT.

The only problem with it is that the pressure sensitivity on my Paint Tool Sai program doesn't work, so I'm going to have to find a way to either fix it or finally learn how to use photoshop. I've tried literally everything to fix the sensitivity problem but there's no luck, especially since it's only happening to SAI program and nothing else. I may have to call a tech support or something to see if I can fix it, but otherwise---

I'll be posting more art! (If I can get the quirks fixed)

I'm so sorry I haven't been around lately! I'm such an inactive member of DA, ohmygawd..

I'm happy to say that, after long and strenuous situations, I have managed to come out of everything that's been negatively impacting me for SUCH a long time and... I have my inspiration back!

It's amazing how much change/relief (that's for the better) in your life can just make everything in the world beg to be drawn on paper. I think I've filled up more pages of computer paper at my work in the past few days than I've sketched in WEEKS. and I'm SO HAPPY, except for the occasional death threat from my boss about paper prices.

I'm a page away from finishing my sketchbook... and so OF COURSE I'm too stubborn to give it up completely and I'm going through old pages to fill ALL of the blank space up. (literally, you can't tell a damn thing apart in my notebook...) hopefully I'll remember to be a decent enough human being and post some pictures of some of my sketchy pages for all of my lovely and patient watchers.

I'm finding myself extremely intrigued by grotesque creatures and figures lately. I think I'm branching into a new style, or at least a new way of thinking and developing characters. <3

Hopefully I'll be able to make some submissions soon!

It takes me two and a half years to finish my first sketchbook? I know, I'm lame. BUT I'M SO EXCITED!
Sure, it has really terrible sketches from sophomore year of high school up until now, but I am so happy to finally finish a sketchbook instead of lose it. (this is NOT the first sketchbook I have ever owned, it is the ONLY sketchbook I have not LOST before finishing it... /facepalm)

I can't wait to get started on a new sketchbook. I really want to branch out with my imagination and draw some interesting stuff. I was too stuck on generic anime in this sketchbook and I want to branch into more details and ideas.

I hope to post a few pictures of the sketchy pages! If I find any that are worthy of posting, haha!

I know I'm inactive as hell, but taking 18 hours in college is really kicking my butt. xD
